The time has come to get ready for the big move! I will be leaving my current residence in a suburb of the capital city and moving right in the middle of ATL in TWO days! Not going to lie...I am nervous, but excited at the same time. I am going to learn how to live on my own and only depend on myself! That means learning to cook. I can do everything else (laundry, cleaning, etc.) except for this. I have the luxury of having a cafeteria at my college, so I have not had to stress about preparing food for myself before. When the food is not edible in the caf, I can easily go out to dinner at a restaurant nearby. However, this summer will be different. There is no cafeteria I can venture to for all my meals, and I am on a strict budget since I will be living in the city. That means I am limited on going out to restaurants and must face the daunting tasks of grocery shopping and preparing my own food. It will be difficult, but I think I can do it... as long as I take my cookbooks with me.
I also need to find some tennis players to hit with during the summer. I play collegiate tennis, and am heading into my senior season. I need to make sure I go out with a bang! That means constant practicing, match play, and conditioning. However, I can't do that all on my own (besides conditioning). So, I need to find some players to hit with. That will be another process.
Going to get ready for my first day of interning. I know it is only Thursday, but I can go get my nails done and my hair cut to prepare for the big day. A girl has to be prepared!
Until next time-
Me
